It came as a surprise to me that Philippine Airlines have in-flight entertainment already on their Beijing-Manila route.  Last time I flew with this airline in 2006, there were no radio nor magazine nor newspapers, what more movies right? 

Anyway, I’m quite happy that the movie they showed was a comedy featuring one of my favorite actresses, Sandra Bullock.  This movie is a comeback movie for Sandra after taking quite a long break.  She still look pretty and curvaceous though a bit older.

The Proposal is about a high powered executive, Margaret (Sandra Bullock) who was in the brink of being deported back to her native Canada.  As a way to escape the clutches of the immigration personnel, she blackmailed her assistant, Andrew (Ryan Reynolds) to marry her.
